Detailed Description

Features: 

  • System comprises of two components - A perimeter track and lightweight fabric membrane.
  • Ceiling manufactured from roll material bespoke to ceilings height and shape.
  • Additional to Ceilings the system can be used for Wall Coverings, Light Diffusers, Floating Panels, Exhibitions, and Creative 3D Shapes, Domes and Vaults.
  • Materials properties allow multiple ceiling removal and re-installation for access.
  • Incorporation of all types of light fixtures, grilles and fixing points by the use of a proprietary background support.
  • Excellent Transmittance for Light Diffusion, Backlighting (LED, Cold Cathode, and Fibre Optic) and projection.
  • System is entirely waterproof, washable, and  impermeable to vapour making it useful in areas with high humidity, such as above pools/spas.
  • Surface accepts any printed image or graphic, and can also be painted.
  • Can be designed to provide sound absorption/control without compromising the cosmetic look of the project.

Material: 

  • 0.2mm thick PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) based membrane.
  • Membranes connected by Micro-Seams (Factory Ultrasonically Welded).
  • Ultrasonically Welded Edge Harpoon fits securely in Track.
  • Semi-Concealed Perimeter Track of Anodised Aluminium or Matt White/Black PVC.

Installation: 

  • Stretch Ceiling Perimeter Track is fixed into place at the designated height.
  • The Stretch Ceiling is stretched and installed into the Perimeter Track
  • Installed by directly employed and experienced Stretch Ceiling Staff.

Profile: 

  • Profile as indicated on drawings.
  • Shapes and forms to be within Stretch Ceilings Ltd guidelines.

Support System:

  • Typical suspension for Double Rail using galvanised MF system or equivalent.

Guarantee: 

  • Product guaranteed for 12 Years from installation against seam and harpoon manufacturing defects.
  • 2 Years for Colourfastness under normal use (Excludes Translucent Finish).

Product Guidance - As Standard 

Standards: 

  • BS1 d0 (Equivalent to UK Class 0 Fire Rating)  in accordance with EN13501.1.
  • BS3177 Water Impermeable (Equivalent to NF EN 147164.1.3).
  • AIS OGV (Ongoing Contractor Vetting) Compliant.
  • Full CE Certification - European produced.
  • 100% Recyclable.
  • Non-Toxic.

Sheet/Panel Size: 

  • Panel width before seam join 1.5m - 2.5m.
  • Panel area maximum 50m2.

Product Specification - Options

Finishes:

  • Matt, Satin, Lacquer, Translucent, Metallic, and Perforated (Acoustic - Non Vapour Barrier).
  • Acoustic M-PERF, available in Super Matt White and Crystal White (Translucent) finishes.
  • Hygienic Anti-Bacterial Sheet available in Super Matt White finish.
  • Material to be smooth not textured.

Colour:  Comprehensive Range of Colours (Specify from Stretch Ceilings Ltd Colour Card inc Ref No.).

Track Sections:

  • Anodised Aluminium (Types - B1L, A1F, S1D, O1i, J1M, UN1, TOB1, RU5, LI5, GU5, JO5, TOB2).
  • Matt White and Black PVC (Types - J4N, S4L, P4M, F4Y, J4K, AB1).

Frame Sections: Anodised Aluminium/PVC Semi-Concealed Framing Section.

Harpoon: Matt White and Black.
